First Baptist Church of Jewett is located between Dallas and Houston, 1 hour from Texas A&M. We are rural but and a very innovative church. Our Music is blended between contemporary and Hymns. We believe the Bible is God inspired and inerrant. We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We support the Southern Baptist Convention, Texas Baptist Convention of Texas and the Leon Baptist association. Our Vision Statement is, Love God, Love Others and Reach the World
