Northstar Church was started in 1998 by Lead Pastor, Marty Martin. A native to the area, Marty was drawn back to Bay County with a specific desire given to him by God to start a church for people who did not have a relationship with God or who had discontinued
going to church. In June of 1998, we started with 20 people. By September of that year, 248 people attended Northstar’s first public service at Tommy Smith Elementary School in Panama City, Florida. Today, more than 2,000 people attend Northstar Church at
multiple campuses throughout the Florida Panhandle and online in 142 different countries. Our vision and passion haven’t changed over the past two decades. We still exist to help the whole world find and follow Jesus.
