Hope House Home for Children has a position open for a female Night Duty staff person, providing overnight safety and supervision for girls ages 8-18. You are not alone as a second woman is sleeping in an ajoining room and available with quick response. This role of serving provides the girls peace as they sleep to know that a lady is closeby in case of illness or nightmares. This ministry for you would allow you to serve quietly/with joy.
Hope House serves a vulnerable population so applicant must be able to pass a criminal history background check, be in good phsycial health, and be at least 21 years of age. Hope House is a non-smoking facility . Full job description and compensation information available upon request.
Private housing for each staff member provided with monthly pay/cell phone and meals in our dining room. Your small animal is welcome. Training is provided.

In 1973, Donnalee Velvick saw a need for a home that would benefit "hard-to-place" kids. Children who have mental, physical, and/or emotional challenges often "fall through the cracks" in our society. Her dream grew and developed into Hope House Home For Children. Hope House is located just west of the city limits of Nampa, Idaho, on approximately 75 acres in six different homes according to age, gender, and ability. We provide a home for approximately 40 youths under the age of eighteen and approximately 20 disabled young adults. Our staff consists of twelve full-time volunteers who live on the premises, ten College Interns and student helpers, as well as teachers, cooks and support personnel.
