Full-time News Reporter
Salem Media Group is looking for a dynamic News Reporter for their Greenville/Upstate Market who is a talented and motivated broadcasting professional who wants to be part of a growing team.  This position will work in multiple studio environments, providing top-quality news content and assisting with daily programming duties.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced on-air commercial broadcaster who can clearly communicate news and information in a concise, logical and conversational manner on a flexible schedule.

Duties include:

  • Report stories using interviews, source documents, social media and original research
  • Write and/or produce multimedia content that appeals to key audience targets and maximize user experience on digital platforms.
  • Manage digital fronts when needed
  • Collaborate well with others
  • Being professional and passionate about delivering the news to our community and staying on top of breaking news
  • Has a flexible schedule regarding holidays and/or some weekends
