First Baptist Church of Mableton is seeking to employ a Full-time Associate Pastor for Community Connection and Life Development. FBCM is located in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, twenty minutes from the heart of Downtown.
We are located in a multi-cultural community and seek to reach out to all in our area. We are conservative in doctrine yet contemporary in worship and ministry philosophy. We have a thriving Children and Youth ministry and a vibrant music ministry.
This position will be responsible for four primary areas: community outreach, millennial ministry, integration of current church ministries, and development and implementation of a recreation ministry. The position will include weekly preaching or teaching across all areas of ministry in the church.
Qualified candidates will need a seminary degree or be currently enrolled in seminary, have at least 3 years of church staff experience, possess the unique skill-set and personality for multicultural and millennial ministry, and a strong passion and gifting for outreach.
Total package for this position ranges between 65-75k/year depending on qualification and experience.
