Digital Marketing Designer
Purpose:
As our new Digital Marketing Designer, your main focus will be designing and creating various types of deliverables for client and in-house projects for the sales, e-commerce, and digital teams. You will be an important creative resource for development
of all digital advertising materials. Your responsibilities will also extend to various e-commerce duties, data analysis and reporting, and web content management.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the creative execution of digital advertising projects based on the needs of the sales, digital, and ecommerce team members.
- Strategize, design, and develop standards-compliant HTML/CSS advertising email.
- Create online advertising banners based on goals conveyed by sales, e-commerce, and digital team members.
- Maintain advertising, e-commerce, and other weekly email/web ad inventory.
- Act as a liaison between digital and sales department to ensure all creative request have been created and/or received prior to campaign start date
- Review all creative requests to verify they are clear and supported by enough background information to be fully executable.
- Analyze email performance and develop data-driven insights
- Communicate best email practices to educate sales team and clients.
- Post content to various online properties (previously created).
- Ability to, on occasion, assist with customer service for ecommerce stores: answer calls, responding to customer emails
- Ability to, on occasion, assist with providing shipping support for ecommerce stores
- Demonstrate a continued commitment to professional education and industry best practices.
- A willingness to pitch in whenever and wherever needed.
- Be self-motivated and able to deliver on assignments under the direction and guidance of senior team members.
Qualifications:
- Must supply portfolio to demonstrate design ability for web, digital media solutions, marketing promotions and graphic design including URLs. Candidate’s portfolio must demonstrate a good eye of color, composition, legibility, and creativity.
- Demonstrated working knowledge using Adobe Creative Suite-(including Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Acrobat); Microsoft applications (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Very Knowledgeable with HTML and CSS.
- Experience with CMS Platforms a plus (Wordpress).
- Experience with email marketing platforms a plus (MailChimp, Contant Contact, Post-Up).
- Experience with Double Click for Publishers a plus.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics a plus.
- Must have strong organizational and planning skills, superior attention to details and ability to manage multiple projects solves problems through persistent and creative troubleshooting and research.
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of an Associate’s degree in graphic/web design or directly related field with solid skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience and a comfort level in working within the digital marketing arena. New college graduates with appropriate experience are welcome to apply.
