Salty Ministries is seeking a Campus Pastor for our 4th beach location. The ideal candidate will be a Christ-loving, beach-loving, people-loving, surfing pastor with five years expierence. If you cannot surf, then you must, at a minimum, own flip-flops. Jesus wore sandals and so do we. :)
Our ministry has a unique ability to reach a coastal population. Just because you like the idea of going to the beach doesn't mean that you understand beach culture. This is an important point because it's easy to spot somebody trying to fake it. Authenticity and humility are non-negotiable. Applicants that can demonstrate the ability to connect culturally will stay at the top of the stack.
The Salty Campus is a video venue with a relaxed environment and contemporary worship. Candidate must have strong communication skills, be relational and possess proven leadership and growth history. The Campus Pastor provides overall leadership for the campus
and functions as the communicator of the vision at the local level. Working with a collaborative team under the leadership of the Multisite Director, the Campus Pastor oversees all aspects of the weekend experience, lifegroups, and community outreach.

Salty Church was birthed from the Atlantic Ocean (literally) on a deep sea fishing excursion in 2005, with the challenge of starting a church that would reach the unchurched and de-churched along Florida's east coast. Since then, our mission has remained the
same. We are a rescue station for the hurting and the lost, empowering those who've been rescued to partner with us in the rescue mission as disciples for Jesus.
Salty has campuses in Ormond Beach, Flagler Beach and New Smyrna Beach with a vision to start life-saving stations up and down the coast.

Salty Church is located in Ormond Beach. The campus is located just minutes south in a close-knit Florida beach community with a mixture of families, singles, retirees & tourists, offering the best of both worlds, the laid-back beach lifestyle yet only about
an hour from Orlando & Jacksonville.
QUALIFICATIONS
A relational leader of leaders with the ability and passion to identify, raise up, and mentor others
History of working in a collaborative environment with other high-level leaders
Excellent communicator whether large or small group setting with strong written, verbal, presentation & listening skills
Passionate, energetic self-starter who enjoys meeting and exceeding goals
Models a Biblical servant leader: leads by serving and serves by leading
Possesses excellent decision-making skills using wisdom & discernment empowered by God
