Children's Ministry Director

The Children's Director will manage and provide leadership for the Children's Ministry and it's volunteers, ensuring effective Bible teaching and application so that children begin and continue to grow in a relationship with Jesus.

• Articulate vision for Children’s Ministry in alignment with overall vision of the church.
• Lead the Children’s Ministry volunteer team in developing, implementing, and maintaining ministry for children age birth through grade 5; inclusive of worship, discipleship, community and mission.
• Oversee the selection and implementation of all departmental curriculums.
• Create and present innovative, biblically sound sermons and teachings.
• Administer the annual budget and make financial decisions, being a good steward of funds.
• Be an effective ministry team member who collaborates on “all church” events, attends weekly staff meetings, & other general staff requirements.
• Equip kids to impact their world (school, home, sports).
• Provide strategic leadership and planning initiatives for the department.
• Partner with parents to encourage, support and nurture their needs, to facilitate spiritual growth of their children, and to foster their enthusiastic support of the ministry.
• Train, lead, mentor, and equip staff.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and lead teams of volunteers.
• Attend all of Christ Tabernacle's mandatory meetings
