Executive Pastor opportunity at International church in Santa Cruz, Bolivia:
Trinity International Church is seeking a Pastor to lead the existing English speaking congregation and growing ministry to the English speaking community of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Santa Cruz is one of the fastest growing cities in Latin America and the world
and is undergoing rapid social change. It has a growing middle-class and a vibrant international community, so there is an increasing demand for English language services and acquisition. TIC is positioned at the intersection of faith and this diverse culture
and provides a superb opportunity for ministry in English language. The church also currently supports several important ministries to under-privileged street-youth, the homeless, and unwanted children, and is a significant support to the international volunteers
who work in these ministries and wish to belong to an English-speaking church community. The church also runs an important conversational English–speaking language program for ESL speakers and there is a simultaneous Spanish-translation service available (via
headphones) during the church services, both which contribute to our growing population of ESL members.
The congregation is looking for a pastor who can foster spiritual growth through dynamic preaching and Bible teaching in English, combined with a Gospel-centered focus on mission to the community. The church does not offer a full-time salary, but provides a
monthly stipend to assist in meeting housing costs and living expenses. The applicant would need to be willing to raise additional funds for additional living expenses.
