Northshore Christian Academy seeks a middle school English teacher to join our team! Our middle school meets in a beautiful new building that overlooks the Puget Sound and Cascade Mountains surrounded by a greenbelt.

Teachers at NCA are responsible for classroom instruction of students integrating the Bible in every subject.  The learning environment requires the teacher to have the knowledge to teach Bible classes and Christian principles, lead students in prayer and nurture them to develop godly character.  Our teachers are responsible for leading a personal lifestyle and character above reproach while faithfully attending a local evangelical church. The successful candidate will have a passion for engaging students in an active learning environment that accommodates multiple learning styles and incorporates current technology in their instructional efforts with students.

We ask our new teachers to obtain a Washington State teaching certificate within the first two year of employment.  We will also assist our new teachers to acquire the ACSI Certification.  1-2 years of experience is preferred, but not required.

Requirements

For Teachers: 

BA or higher in Education

Christian Testimony and active in an Evangelical church

1 to 2 years teaching experience preferred by not required

Obtain WA Cert during first two years of teaching prefered

Obtain ACSI Cert during first year of teaching
