SCOPE: The Graphic Designer will develop and provide conceptual design and production for a wide range of publications, both print and web, produced by our creative team for various internal clients. The designer will work closely with the
other designers and writers to produce materials to create generous and remarkable materials from pre-press through completion; and will work in collaboration with others to help maintain the visual image and standards of the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with the Design Director to establish branding standards and ensure such standards are maintained in visual design, content and production.
- Manage the visual design and creation of marketing materials including periodic publications, marketing literature, event materials, corporate forms and stationary, and graphics for web and electronic media.
- Manage projects from creation to final production. Meet and collaborate with staff and other internal clients on creative projects.
- Schedule, budget and track projects throughout creative process. Enter information regarding projects into current software being used.
- Identify, contract with, direct and manage outside vendors for creative and print services. Provide direction to design and photo services staff.
- Review all creative materials prior to publication or distribution to ensure compliance with visual branding and design standards.
- Manage branding assets/files including logos and respond to external requests for branding assets (logos, images)
OTHER DUTIES
- Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes and policies.
- Lead and or participate in projects or task force groups which focus on issues having organization wide impact.
- Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or equivalent work experience
- Requires 3-7 years of full time agency, design firm, or corporate in-house experience in print and web design.
- Requires strong skills in graphic design and creative conception.
- Requires a mastery in Adobe Creative Suite
- CSS and HTML a plus
- Illustration a plus
