Assistant Radio Program Coordinator

Salem Media Group in San Antonio, TX is currently seeking an Assistant Radio Program Coordinator to support our programming on AM 630 KSLR, AM 930 THE ANSWER. AM 1160 KRDY AND THEFISHSANANTONIO.COM radio stations.

The Assistant Program Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of programming including; music scheduling, coaching on-air staff, station strategy, development/execution of promotions, website & revenue generation, and have a strong customer service approach towards listeners, staff, & sales. Candidate will work in tandem with Operations Manager and Market Manager. 

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty/responsibility satisfactorily.
• Must be able to work in the field at the site of ongoing projects, as needed to meet project or program goals.
• Ability to read, interpret, modify or create project specific documents such as technical, operational, maintenance and procedure documentation.
• Ability to write technical reports and correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations to clients, and other employees of the organization.
