Multimedia Account Manager-San Diego, CA

Salem Media Group in San Diego is in growth mode and we are offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Multimedia Account Manager for our two (2) radio stations: AM 1170 The Answer & AM 1210 K-Praise.

If you’re a sales professional with at least 2 years outside sales experience, living in or moving to San Diego, and desire to become part of an organization that is making a real difference in the local community, then we want you to become part of our sales and marketing team.

Responsibilities include:

• Prospecting, securing appointments and growing our new business efforts
• Act as a liaison between clients and our stations as you service the client’s changing needs
• Growing your clients’ business by developing and executing advertising strategy using on-air commercials, interviews, digital media and live events

Excellent oral and written communications skills are critical. The ability to reach and communicate effectively with top business executives and decision makers is essential.

Other requirements include:

• Have a proven track record of success in sales –especially working with local businesses
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, be well organized, a team player, have a positive attitude and passion for our stations
• Previous media sales experience is a HUGE plus, though it does not need to be radio. TV, newspaper, direct mail and digital professionals are all welcome to apply
• Being able to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently and effectively
• A passion for marketing and helping grow your client’s business
