JOB DESCRIPTION

TECHNOLOGIST COORDINATOR

GRADE 5

AUGUST 2017

 

 

 

OBJECTIVE:

To serve as an active member of a communication team to creatively implement evolving digital and interactive technologies to actively advance the mission of Cornerstone Network.

 

REPORT TO: Creative Service Manager

 

Qualifications:

College degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience. Experienced with social media, the Internet and various software platforms.  Must be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Work as a contributing member of a growing team.
  • Produce and provide data research for Google Analytics.
  • Manage user interface for Orange Leap database software.
  • Work within Word Press and other web development platforms.
  • Work within MS Office Suite.
  • Create data segment extracts as directed.
  • Research, consult and advise new technology solutions.
  • Understand and work on timelines.

 

 

 

GENERAL:  

The Technologist Coordinator is a full time salary position. Other projects and duties may be assigned as needed by Cornerstone Network leadership.

It began over 38 years ago – in a vision God gave Norma Bixler during a chance visit to the Christian Broadcasting Network. Sitting there in the lobby of that still-fledgling network, she heard a clear call that God wanted her and her husband, Russ, to build a Christian television station back home in Pittsburgh. It took many months and some marvelous revelations before Russ came to share that conviction – and even then, the couple found that they had their work cut out for them. Their prospective station faced nearly every imaginable hurdle – financial, legal, personal, logistical… and one by one, over the next ten years, God helped them over, under, around, and through each obstacle – with miracle after affirming miracle – to realize the vision He’d given them.
