We are a Christian boarding school that works with at risk teenage boys. The Admissions Coordinator speaks with parents when they call in or apply on line for our school. Families are usually in a difficult place when they reach out to us. It is important to be personable and compassionate when speaking with parents about their need for help and the service we offer. The Admissions Coordinator has to be well versed (will train) in our program and able to communicate to parents how we can help their families.
The Admissions Coordinator spends a good deal of their time on the phone and online. They have to be self-starters and motivated. A high level of computer skill is needed. Descent typing speed required. They will review applications to ensure all paperwork has been collected and filled out correctly. Attention to detail is needed.
