Connection Church is a unique, exciting, outreach focused, evangelical church in Canton Michigan. We are looking for a high-energy, high capacity leader to show our students what following Jesus looks like. Our youth environment has everything needed to

REQUIREMENTS
- Ministry leadership experience (at least 4 years), including directing volunteer teams and casting vision.
- Leading in a large church is a plus
- Budget experience, including forecasting costs, establishing budgets and adhering to set budgets
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to solve problems, sometimes creatively
- Ability to lead people and projects, as well as do the work
- Ability to challenge status quo to improve operating efficiencies
- Possess strong leadership, team building, and administrative skills
- Inspiring teams, vision-casting, and creating momentum for ministry growth
- Highly relational intelligence with the ability to connect with the current generation
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- An effective communicator of Scripture
- Outstanding communication skills, both in verbal and non-verbal capacities
- Proven track record of identifying, recruiting, coaching, and developing leaders
- Creative and unafraid to take risks
- Able to work as a team player in a multi-staff environment
- Musical, graphic and technical skills are a plus
Success in this role will be determined by:
- Growth in student’s spiritual lives and attendance
- Increase in number of leaders who are trained and developed
- Balance between attractional and relational discipleship
- Clear and concise vision for ministry
- Maximized connections in local schools
- Integration with current Children’s and Young Adult Ministries
