The middle school support team is built on the co-teaching model which requires grade level core and
learning support teachers to co-plan and co-teach lessons that support all students in the classroom, including
students who need academic and ELL support. Working in partnership with grade level teachers is an essential part of
this instructional position that includes the support of students with both academic challenges and ELL needs.
