Shepherd's House Ministries shares the redemptive grace and love of Jesus with those who are struggling with homelessness, addiction, and other forms of brokenness. Shepherd's House Ministries is a non-denominational Christian ministry that is committed to creating and sustaining an environment where the love and grace of Christ is forefront and where men, women, and children struggling in brokenness, find hope and restoration through the grace of Jesus. Position: Donor Database Management Clerk
The Donor Database Management Clerk position requires a high degree of ethical integrity and fiscal accuracy. Must be computer literate with sound proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The office for this position is located where climbing stairs (half a flight) is necessary to reach office. The Donor Database Management Clerk will have interactions with our clients and guests and must be comfortable in our environment.
Hours: 15-20 hours per week Pay: $18- $20 per hour (DOE)

Requirements of the Job
Experience with most aspects of donor management systems (Donor Pro a plus)
Experience with receipting donations and other payments into donor management system
Experience with customer service and phone contact work for donor communications
Comfortable with data mining of donor information
Extremely organized and systematic in work approach with a high degree of accuracy
Works well with others as a team player
Must have reliable transportation and a valid Oregon drivers license
Must be supportive of Shepherd’s House Culture and Values as outlined in our documentation
Must be able to type 40+ words per minute
Duties
Daily entering of donations into our donor management system (50%)
Daily printing and mailing of thank you letters and receipts (10%)
Daily maintaining of filing system for deposit records (10%)
Daily post office runs for donor mail collection (5%)
Daily bank deposits of donations, both cash and checks (5%)
Regular data mining for updating donor management email and contact information (5%)
Regular education via online database tutorials to expand knowledge base (5%)
Periodic gift in kind data entry (2.5%)
Periodic updating of constituent address and contact information for accurate data records (2.5%)
Periodic database updates and additions for work efficiency and accuracy (2.5%)
Periodic contact with donors to answer questions about their receipts, gifts, etc. (%2.5)
Other administrative duties as assigned
Participate in our weekly staff meeting to be connected to our culture, values, and staff
