Pastoral Care Director

The Pastoral Care Director is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the care and connection of the congregation from first time visit through full engagement in Christian community. This includes development and leadership of a pastoral care function and initial steps in newcomer assimilation. The Pastoral Care Director is to develop and administer a comprehensive and integrated array of pastoral care and growth services that promotes healing and spiritual growth in those seeking care at The Life Christian Church, and to promote, support and nurture the ministries, leaders and ministry partners involved in the pastoral care ministry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree preferred, and must have knowledge of, experience in, and a heart for ministry.
• 5+ years in Pastoral Care Ministry in a church context or chaplaincy preferred.
• Professional counseling licensure preferred but not required.
