This new position is responsible for one of our primary ministry quadrants which includes these three areas of ministry: (1) Evangelism and marketing. This involves developing an evangelism plan to reach the unchurched and draw them to Christ through this ministry. (2) First Impressions Ministry. This involves the hospitality that would greet visitors when they step foot on our campus. (3) Connections Ministry. This involves coordinating small group ministry, equipping ministry, and the new member process.
The ideal candidate will love Jesus and people for His sake, be passionate about reaching the lost for Him, be coachable and work well in a team setting. The candidate does not need to be ordained, as this is designed to be either a "director-level" or lay pastor position. Public speaking ability is also important as this position will be part of our preaching team (preaching about 4 - 6 times/year). Education of at least a bachelor's degree. Need not be from a Lutheran background, but must be at least ok with baptism at any age.
