On Air Host - Greenville, SC

Salem Media Group in Greenville, SC is seeking a high-energy, passionate, and experienced Midday On-Air Host for its new 24/7 Contemporary Urban Gospel and Inspiration Programming station – Rejoice! 96.9.

The Midday On-Air Host position will be responsible for:

• Prep for and host a live midday show on Rejoice! 96.9 as needed, while assisting in keeping the station in FCC compliance.
• Maintain/grow station social media and web applications as needed.
• Make promotional appearances as needed.
• Operate on-air board as needed.
• Participate in team and brand growth meetings as needed.

Job Requirements:

• A true passion for Contemporary Urban Gospel and Inspirational Programming.
• Minimum of 3 years of on-air experience.
• Must be proficient with automation systems.
• Must be proficient with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and web applications.
• Must be familiar with program logs.
• Must have ability to market station successfully both on and off air.
• Must possess strong people and communications skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Must be a team player, be able to take direction and be willing to work with other departments to create a positive work environment.

Position is Part-Time with pay based on experience.
