We need you to be able to do the following:

  • Maintain executive and development staff’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Coordinate Fundraising events: Golf Tournament, Annual Banquet, Dinners, and so forth.
  • Basic accounting and bookkeeping functions.
  • Maintain donor confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
  • Conserve executive and development staff’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating communications.
  • Oversee the process and tasks for taking short-term mission goers to East Africa.
  • Manage and completes projects; setting tasks, making sure the owners complete them, and following up on results.
  • Serve as first-line of troubleshooting for short-term mission goers.
  • Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Prepare materials/collateral for donor meetings
  • Welcome donors and partners by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
  • Provide historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.
  • Represent the executive and development staff by attending meetings in the executive and development staff’s absence; speaking for the executive and development staff.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Manage and prepares Expense Reporting (via Expensify)
  • Make some website content updates
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
