Pastor of Family Ministries

Compensation:

• Up to $45k/year dependent upon experience and track record
• 2 weeks paid vacation (increases after 2 years)
• 1 week paid sick leave
• 9 paid employee holidays
• Fridays and Saturdays off

Requirements:

• Must align with our beliefs as found at: www.pointenorth.org/about/mission-vision-beliefs
• Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, maintaining personal spiritual development through Bible reading, prayer and Christian communityMature, devoted follower of Christ
• Be (or willingness to become) a member in good standing
• Strong public speaking and written communication 
• 4 years experience in ministry and leadership
• Proven track record of leading a thriving ministry
• Ability to recruit/manage people and financial resources
• Strong computer skills, experience with Planning Center Online and ProPresenter is a plus
• Entrepreneurial type personality, must be self-starter and a team player.
• Must be a Leader of Leaders

Description: 

Pointe North is searching for the right person to develop and oversee our family
ministries: 6 wks – 12 grade. This person should be highly relational and an excellent
recruiter, both with adult volunteers and students. With the help of a paid administrative assistant, this person’s primary responsibilities include oversight of:

• Sunday morning Children’s Ministry and nursery
• Wednesday evening children’s ministry and nursery
• Sunday evening Youth, Children and Nursery

The Pastor of Family Ministries will be the primary teacher for Sunday evening Youth and Sunday morning Children but is encouraged to develop a team of volunteers that can share that responsibility.
