Paid Time Off Program

Group encourages staff to enjoy time away from work to help balance their lives. Group provides a paid time off program.  This program includes paid observed holidays, two floating holidays, and Paid Time Off (PTO).

Health, Dental and Vision Insurance

Group staff may elect to have health, dental and vision insurance coverage for themselves and their family members. Eligibility begins the first of the month following the first 30 days of employment.  In addition, Group staff health, dental, and vision insurance premiums are deducted pre-tax from payroll checks through a 125 Plan.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible spending accounts are also available for medical and dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis. Staff are eligible to participate in this benefit the first of the month following the first 30 days of employment.

Disability Coverage

Group offers Short-Term Pay Continuation to assist a staff member who experiences an eligible injury or illness that prevents them from working.  Group funds pay continuation at 60% for up to 90 days of disability, following an elimination period and use of paid time off.  In the event of an extended disability period, Group provides Long-Term Disability insurance that may cover up to 60% of eligible compensation.

Life Insurance

Group provides Basic Term Life Insurance in the amount of $25,000 and Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage in the amount of $25,000 for the staff member plus $5,000 for staff member’s spouse and up to $2,000 for children.  Group also offers staff additional life insurance at a corporate rate.

401(k) Plan

Group staff may contribute up to the IRS maximum of their salary to the plan on a pre-tax basis. The 401(k) plan offers many investment fund options for the staff member to consider.

Profit Sharing

Group desires to share profits with Group staff. Profit sharing is paid out in two forms: a cash bonus and a deferred profit sharing plan.

Staff can receive a cash bonus if Group is profitable during the previous calendar year and leadership declares a profit-sharing contribution. In addition, the staff member needs to have worked a portion of that previous year and needs to be employed on the date the cash bonuses are distributed. Cash bonuses are distributed during the 1st quarter of the following year.

The second form of profit sharing is an employer contribution to a deferred profit sharing plan. The amount is determined by leadership and is contributed to eligible staff members’ 401(k) accounts regardless of whether the staff member makes an elective contribution. Group currently makes annual contributions for profitable years on behalf of each eligible staff member who is 18 years of age, works a minimum of 1,000 hours per year, and is employed on December 31. Eligibility begins 1 year after the staff member’s hire date. Enrollment in the plan occurs on the first day of the month following eligibility date. Profit sharing contributions are placed in the same investment accounts as the 401(k) plan contributions.

Life Assistance Program

Group staff are given the opportunity to receive three free counseling sessions and access to life resources for themselves and their families. The counseling services are confidential and provided off-site by local counselors.

Work Environment

Community Service Opportunities

Group staff can experience our one-week Group mission experiences firsthand. Our staff get a chance to serve in a role for this great experience without having to use their PTO. If a staff member serves at a mission experience, Group pays for their salary and travel arrangements.

Group staff also can give back to the community by participating in our Charitable Giving Committee. The committee members share the responsibility of determining how Group's annual tithe is allocated to help non-profit organizations in need.
