Job Description:

Crossroads Ministry of Estes Park, Inc., is seeking an innovative Executive Director to lead all aspects of the organization. Responsibilities include leadership; training and development of staff and volunteers; financial and administrative management; community relationships; and fundraising. The position is located in Estes Park, Colorado. 

 

The Executive Director reports to a Board of Directors. Four full-time staff members and 100+ volunteers support the organization’s operations.

 

Qualifications

 

The optimum candidate will possess:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • At least five years’ experience managing a non-profit organization
  • Successful record of community engagement
  • Volunteer recruitment, engagement and training
  • Passion for helping people in need

 

Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in grant writing and reporting; an advanced degree in Human Services, Counseling, Ministry or similar; experience with capital campaigns and transformational leadership.

 

The successful candidate will be required to reside in the Estes Valley.

 

Compensation

Total compensation package of $60,000 – $70,000 plus health insurance, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Services include food to alleviate or prevent hunger; emergency (overnight) lodging or rental/mortgage housing assistance to prevent eviction or foreclosure; assistance to prevent or reverse shut-off of utilities; assistance with costs of medical, dental, prescriptions; limited transportation assistance, including gasoline or critical vehicle repairs; vouchers for clothing, household goods, laundry and shower services; case management to assess and meet needs, including referrals for additional resources and assistance; financial self-sufficiency and energy conservation classes.
