GGCC US Advisory Board is a small, nonprofit ministry that advises, promotes and facilitates the Gethsemane Garden Christian Centre school for HIV/AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children on Mfangano Island in Lake Victoria, Kenya. The school was established in 2003 with 110 children, and today serves approx. 650 children in grades K - 12.
The school provides a christian-based education, clothes, food, housing and medical care for these children, with an engaged, focused and supportive faculty and staff.
We are a 501c3, tax-exempt non-profit ministry, and the US Advisory Board provides leadership, financial support through student sponsorships and other fundraising to assist in the daily operation of the school. We promote the ministry in the U.S., lead annual mission trips to the school, and maintain relationships with current donors and supporters through the office in the Charlotte, NC area.
