For 142 years, Thornwell has been committed to providing the highest quality of care for children and young adults. We are a ministry of the Presbyterian Church USA and are located in Clinton, SC, a historic, college town in upstate SC.
We are seeking couples to work in professional positions to provide a nurturing, family style setting for eight children. We have ten cottages on our campus and staff each cottage with two couples to allow for consistency for the children and adequate time off for staff. Thornwell uses the Evidence-Based Teaching Family Model. Our four hundred acre campus includes historic buildings, cottages, recreational facilities, farm, and a state of the art Learning Center.
We desire nurturing, professional and deeply committed ministry-minded people who are ready to accept the challenge of working with hurting children.
