AMG International- Vice President of Advancement

 

AMG is seeking a Vice President of Advancement in order to lead, manage, and execute the advancement strategies of the ministry.  This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate to grow with a 75 year-old organization that has a rich history and global ministry focused on Jesus’ example of compassionately serving the least and the lost while heading His command to make disciples. 

 

The incoming Vice President of Advancement will help AMG meet the ministry’s calling to support local churches around the world in developing leaders and transforming their communities. Since its inception 75 years ago, AMG’s programs have focused on engaging and equipping indigenous believers to be salt and light in their own communities. This includes ministry work in pastor training, church planting, child and youth development, vocational training, medical care, evangelism through media, and disaster relief where required.

 

The new Vice President of Advancement will oversee the implementation of a recently completed comprehensive advancement plan. He/She will be able analyze data, develop communication strategies, and coordinate the overall aspects of a successful campaign. In addition, a successful candidate will have proven success in “making the ask” and closing major gift commitments worth $10,000 to $100,000 and more.  He/She must understand the principles of biblical philanthropy and the ministry of fundraising. He/she should be outgoing and proactive while also demonstrating Christ-like humility and evident love for the people and mission of AMG. He/she must have a strong, personal commitment to Jesus Christ and to the Great Commission.

 

The position will be based in Chattanooga, TN, at AMG’s headquarters, and it will require the ability and willingness to travel as needed to meet with donors in person.
