Looking for a Director to oversee a large countywide evangelistic outreach ministry to children of Tioga County, PA. This Child Evangelism Fellowship organization is a well-established 60-year-old organization seeking a mature individual or couple to fufilll the following responsibilities:
-Carry out the ministry under the local Tioga County committee’s direction.
- Visit churches regularly and present the ministry.
-Train prospective teachers and helpers.
-Direct and oversee the Good News Clubs and all other ministry programs such as 5-Day Camps, After School Programs, Release Time Classes, and special holiday outreach events.
-Teach at least one Good News Club.
- Recruit, train, and supervise summer missionaries and camp staff.
-Follow up and arrange discipleship with children reached through the various ministries.
-Help raise the needed finances by presenting the ministry in churches and through letters and electronic media.
-Keep proper records of all gifts and promptly acknowledge the gifts.
-Oversee maintenance of the staff car and property.
-Keep the committee informed about the needs and programs of the State Headquarters in Harrisburg, PA.
-Utilize computer skills for social media, word processing, spreadsheet application, visual presentations, desktop publishing, and photo editing.
Comfortable housing (in a quaint and lovely town of 3,000 noted for its gaslights, recipient of mutiple community awards, and home to the Grand Canyon of PA) and vehicle for the ministry are provided. Insurance is available and the salary ranges from $26,000-$51,000
based on marital staus and family needs.
