Vanderbloemen is a retained executive search firm, serving churches and Christian organizations in all parts of the United States and internationally. Its central office is in the heart of Houston, Texas. Our clients come from over 50 different denominations or types of churches, as well as Christian non-profits and relief organizations. The firm represents churches ranging in attendance from 70 to over 70,000. Churches such as Life.Church, Willow Creek, Central Christian Church, Harvest Bible Chapel, Cross Church, and Peachtree Presbyterian are representative of those who choose to retain Vanderbloemen to help find key staff. Growth at Vanderbloemen has been both rapid and sustained where future growth is anticipated and planned.

Vanderbloemen Search Group is currently seeking the next Intern to join the team. The Vanderbloemen Internship Program is unique in that interns rotate throughout each team during their time at Vanderbloemen Search Group. The prospective intern will alternate between Operations, Candidate Relations, and Consultant teams in increments of two weeks. This offers an opportunity to gain a wide breadth of experience and learn from all teams, while gaining exposure to, and learning from, nearly every area at Vanderbloemen. The successful candidate will value excellence in all things and will complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.

The effective Intern will achieve the following goals during the internship: 

  • Build strong relationships with the VSG team.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Complete projects as assigned by team leaders.

The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be an organizational builder. They will likely have experience working in a church or para-church ministry. Proven experience in leadership, creative thinking, problem solving, and organizational development are needed.
