Our children's home outside of Marsing, Idaho has four openings for direct-care staff for children ages 7-18

Your position would allow you to assist with teaching about basic care for themselves in daily living-sports-music-education-activities and their opportunity to learn about God from you. Do you as a couple/single person/older mature persons have the heart and desire to come and serve?

You would not live in with the youth but within 300-600 feet of their dorms-in your private apartment or house. All living areas have excellent accomodations with washer/dryer/stove/refrigerator and freezer. You are allowed to have two house pets-a requirement to keep dogs on leashes when outside of your living area is required. Everyone works 5 1/2 days per week and we supply: Housing/cell phone/internet/education for your child/children is included. A monthly stipend will be provided.

We need a letter or resume telling us about yourself-you must be able to be fingerprinted-if after seeing your information we will contact you within 24 hours. We pray that you will consider the ministry of Hope House and join us in serving God's kids.

About Hope House, Inc.

In 1973, Donnalee Velvick saw a need for a home that would benefit "hard-to-place" kids. Children who have mental, physical, and/or emotional challenges often "fall through the cracks" in our society. Her dream grew and developed into Hope House Home For Children. Hope House is located just west of the city limits of Nampa, Idaho, on approximately 75 acres in six different homes according to age, gender, and ability. We provide a home for approximately 40 youths under the age of eighteen and approximately 20 disabled young adults. Our staff consists of twelve full-time volunteers who live on the premises, ten College Interns and student helpers, as well as teachers, cooks and support personnel.
