ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: (Responsibilities, Accountabilities, and Competencies; May not include all duties of this job) 

Build client-specific solutions on the Salesforce.com platform using a blend of Native Configuration, Apex and Visualforce/Lightning with the goal of providing clients with sensible solutions that can be managed and maintained within the budget and personnel resources available to them.

  • Debugging system during testing and pre-deployment in order to ensure smooth functioning of the platform.
  • Develop and document user instructions and administrative maintenance requirements for use in Salesforce customizations.
  • Create a library of reusable code for future project deployments.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience)

Christian Commitment:  A deep and abiding faith that is fully surrendered to the will of Jesus Christ, evidenced by a lifestyle that is consistent with biblical principles in word and deed.  Commitment to spiritual growth and development.  Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.  

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Masters of Information Science or related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. 

Experience:

  • Two years of development experience with Salesforce.com (Certified Salesforce.com Developer).
  • Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API.
  • Writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers.
  • Able to use Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE).
  • Able to integrate Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch and sync/async.
  • With scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premise middleware and other enterprise integrating technologies.
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users.

Licensure/Certification: Salesforce Certified Developer, Salesforce Certified    Administrator

Software and Equipment Used: Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Communities, NPSP 3.0 Raiser’s Edge.  Proficiency in HTML, XML, Flex, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, SOAP-based web

CRISTA Ministries Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
