Objective

 

The Associate Pastor assists the Senior Pastor and Staff in growing Meadowlark Church in maturity and numbers with the primary responsibility of reaching younger generations.

 

Preamble

 

We are seeking a Seminary graduate with at least 5 years of ministry experience.  This individual must meet the qualifications for an Elder (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1). The candidate must be fully committed to serving Jesus, with a passion for reaching the unsaved and unchurched; gifted in teaching, preaching and discipling others.  The candidate must have a proven track record of leadership and must be a self-starter.  We need a team builder and team player – unselfish and willing to adjust and grow to meet the needs of Meadowlark.

  • Evangelistic. A passion for leading people to faith in Jesus
  • Team Player. Works alongside the Staff in building the kingdom of God
  • Team Builder. Builds leaders and teams
  • Theological Alignment. Agrees completely with our doctrinal statement and the mission of our church

     

     

    Primary Responsibilities

     

    To lead the church in reaching the coming generations. This includes:

     

    • Recruiting a core team to develop strategies for reaching young people
    • Developing outreach initiatives to attract younger singles and families
    • Implementing systems to grow the church

     

    General: Provides when necessary such pastoral duties such as preaching, counseling, weddings, funerals, and presiding over worship services.
