Job Summary
First Baptist Church exists to transform stories through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are fellow builders of God’s Kingdom and desire to see our local communities thriving to the glory of God. We believe this can be accomplished when people experience reconciliation with God through the Gospel and then carry that reconciliation into the world, one relationship at a time.
We want to see you fulfill your clear calling and passion for God and the youth of our church and community. The ideal candidate will be willing to work with our current youth team, partner with our Children’s Director, walk alongside parents, and help fulfill the mission of the church by discipling the youth.
What is expected:
The person we are looking for will be a disciple of Jesus Christ, demonstrating the reality of that relationship in his/her life walk and testimony. The person is to be a Spirit-led leader in the congregation who conducts themselves above reproach; will be responsible to spiritually lead the youth ministries so that the youth intentionally follow Jesus, and will assist the parents to engage in the discipleship journey; will be responsible for the development and oversight of the FBC youth ministries. This will be accomplished through weekly meetings, youth activities, discipleship groups, and conferences or summer camp.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Arts (preferably in Biblical Studies) with two to four years’ experience.
Salary:
$30,000-35,000 with medical benefits, compensation based upon experience and education
