Job Description:

Salem Media Group is looking for a full time employee to split their time between the Traffic department and the Programing department.


Traffic responsibilities include: Enter new contracts, contract revisions and co-op into the Traffic system. Maintains and updates client filing system. Completes all required continuity components, submits production, programming, and web order forms to appropriate departments. Tracks the status of all submitted forms, and communicates any form/order revisions to appropriate departments. Troubleshoots problems for sales staff.  Schedules all national network spots weekly and completes weekly affidavits.  Assembles, edits, and prints the logs for the following day to be placed in studios upon completion.  Electronically reconcile logs daily. Knowledge of Wide Orbit Traffic system preferred.

Board Operator responsibilities include: Radio board operating, must be able to multi-task and handle light production duties. Experience with Prophet Systems’ NexGen Automation is preferred, as is experience with digital editing in programs such as Adobe Audition.  Must be willing to work overnights, weekends and some holidays.


Radio and Board operating experience preferred. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good problem solving skills, and detail oriented. Be available to work some nights and weekends.
