Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Purpose:
Provide support to ministry president, performing various tasks and assisting in management of general administrative and fundraising activities of the ministry.
Job Description:
Provide personalized secretarial and administrative support in a well-organized manner, handling a variety of tasks
related to ministry president’s working life and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with project management
- Conduct research, compile and create statistical reports
- Assist with office management
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare facilities, and record and transcribe minutes of meetings
- Maintain confidentiality of materials, reports, meetings, and communication
- Greet visitors and conduct to appropriate area or person
- Provide general support to visitors
- Coordinate schedule and make appointments
- Screen and route incoming phone calls and email messages
- Compose and handle routine correspondence
- Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations
- Organize and maintain file system
- Order and maintain supplies and arrange for equipment maintenance
- Assist with Point of View
Radio Talk Show broadcast as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Experience, Skills & Education:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Intermediate skills (at minimum) in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
