SALEM LA is comprised of four radio stations – KKLA-FM (Inspirational Talk), KFSH-FM, (Contemporary Christian Music) KRLA-AM, (Conservative Talk) and KTIE-AM, (Conservative Talk). Job Title: Board Operator – Cluster stations (KKLA/KRLA/KTIE/KFSH)
Shift/Hours/Status: Part Time (29 hrs. per week) Weekend/Overnight
Compensation: $13.00
Reports to: Assistant Program Director
Job Responsibilities and Pre-Requisites:
We have an immediate part-time board-operator position. Up to 29 hours/week. Duties include engineering the live KKLA/KRLA/KTIE/KFSH boards. Execute format as designed by management, maintain logs, and edit live spots, various production duties, and commercial audio production. Windows based computer skills and minimum 6 months radio broadcast experience required, Prophet/NexGen (or similar) system experience preferred. College preferred but not required. Flexibility is a must! Shifts include overnights and weekends. Strong track record, detailed oriented, prompt and dependability required. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.
