JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION:    DISCIPLESHIP PASTOR

REPORTS TO:  LEAD PASTOR

TIME:                     THIS A FULL-TIME POSITION

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all communities at FIVE39.
  • Curriculum for all groups.
  • Invest into current and future leaders.
  • Create a pipeline for future leaders.
  • Meet with all leaders individually twice a year.
  • Conduct a leading training twice a year.
  • Oversee onboarding in all groups 4x a year.
• Oversee Member onboarding and engagement.
  • Conduct Starting Point 3 times a year.
  • Oversee Membership interviews.
  • Oversee Member engagement.
• Oversee Missions.
  • Communicate with all missionaries.
  • Oversee one-two missions trip a year.
  • Present a budget yearly for the Elders.
  • Create a mission policy for FIVE39. 
• Oversee Pastoral care.
  
  • Home Visits.
  • Funeral Services.
  • Pre-marital counseling and Weddings.
  • Counseling.
• Preach as needed.
  • When scheduled by the Lead pastor. 

Work Schedule:  minimum of 40 hours

• Office hours, Discipleship meetings, Sunday services.
