The Anchorage was incorporated in 1953 and has provided Christ centered drug and alcohol treatment to men for 71 years. It is estimated that 20,000 men have received services over the years. We are located in Southwest Georgia in the city of Leesburg near Albany.
The Position: Supervision of a 56-bed inpatient treatment center for men
Teaching 12-Step and Recovery Skills Classes
Counseling and directing men in recovery
Requirements: University degree in: Social Services, Social Work, Counseling or related fields
Experience implementing 12-Step treatment program
Experience with Program Development
Military Service a plus, not required
Mission Statement: The Anchorage provides Christ-centered treatment services to men with substance addictions through a residential program incorporating the 12-Step recovery program with emphasis on the redemptive and transformational power of Jesus Christ to restore the individual to wholeness.
