The Children's Pastor at Beach Church is responsible for casting vision, creating, and leading a dynamic children’s ministry for birth through 5th grade that reflects the mission and values of Beach Church.

Key Ministry Responsibilities:
- Develop, cast vision, and oversee all aspects of the children's ministry, including weekend services (drama and worship teams), special needs ministry, Celebrate Recovery Kids, special events, missions, and camps.
- Establish processes for recruiting, training, and retaining leaders to ensure a steady rotation of well-prepared team members.
- Schedule and coordinate leadership assignments to ensure adequate coverage for all programs and events.
- Continuously evaluate and improve ministry programs to meet the needs of children and families.
- Set clear, achievable annual children’s ministry goals and objectives that align with the mission and values of Beach Church.
- Provide ongoing development, training, and encouragement to leaders to ensure they are well-equipped to serve.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families.
- Communicate regularly with parents through digital newsletters, social media, and church announcements to keep them informed about ministry news and opportunities.
- Manage the children's ministry budget.
- Maintain accurate records of program attendance, volunteer participation, and other relevant metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all church policies and procedures, including Ministry Safe training for leaders, child safety protocols, and background checks for volunteers.
- Work closely with other church staff and ministry leaders to ensure the children's ministry is integrated with the overall mission and ministries of Beach Church.
- Actively engage in staff meetings, planning sessions, and church-wide events as needed.
Qualifications:
- A fully committed follower of Jesus.
- Bachelor’s degree in theology, Christian Education, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years successful children's ministry experience.
Strategic Goals:
- Through strategic outreach and ministry development, double the children's ministry attendance in weekend services within the next two years.
- Deepen family engagement by implementing events, such as parenting workshops.
- Develop a scalable leadership team to support increased attendance and ministries.
