Marcus Pointe Baptist Church is a growing church with currently over 100 adult groups meeting regularly @ four campuses. we are look for a Connection Pastor with experience in leading these current groups and grow our groups ministy to get more people connected within MPBC.
Small Groups Ministry
- Ensure that all groups are functioning correctly.
- Provide leadership and direction for group leaders.
- Find & develop curriculm materials.
- Recruit and train new leaders to start new groups.
- Follow-up on prospects who visit a group.
- Oversee the assimilation process for all visitors weekly.
- Ensure follow-up process is followed.
- Launch new classes on-campus and off-campus.
Next steps
- Oversee process of connecting guests with finding & joining a group.
- Oversee the process of connecting a guests with joining a serve team.
Personal Responsibility:
- Keep a close daily walk with your Lord and Savior.
- Maintain an attitude of excellence in your service to the Lord.
- Be a light for Christ in the community.
- Be faithful in giving your tithe, missions giving and offerings.
- Avoid any appearance of evil; let no hint of immorality exist in your life.
- Demonstrate loyalty to the vision of the Pastor and staff of MPBC and its ministries.
- Hold an attitude of unity among the staff.

- Visit prospects that are assigned to you.
- Visit hospitals as assigned.
